With Anneka Rice getting caught at the end of last week’s episode only two couples remain; Spencer and Jamie and Jay and Siva. Tonight, is the night when we find out if any of the celebrities evaded the Hunters or if the Hunters stepped up their game……exciting stuff.
The pressure is on for the everyone. Spencer and Jamie are using a tactic similar to Steph and Dom, while Jay and Siva have gone off the radar, camping in fields away from any form of human civilisation.
At the beginning of this episode, Jay and Siva are hitch hiking to Bath, they have their photo taken with the driver who dropped them off close to Bristol…. are they wrong to trust him? The Hunters have already worked out these two are on their way to Bath and their photo has appeared on snapchat!
What a hilarious rendition of YMCA by Spencer and Jamie! As the focus shifts, Spencer and Jamie have popped into a beauty salon to seek help. While Jamie is tanning himself on the sunbed, the Hunters receive a tip off and it’s a race against time. The Hunters follow up their tip off and visit the salon, but the ladies keep their promise and cover for them while the lads escape. The lads are dropped off in Ripley, their friendly driver has received a text from the salon, the Hunters are on their tail. Spencer and Jamie get themselves a new lift and are off to a B&B owned by a friend of a friend.
As the Hunters pull up outside the B&B Spencer and Jamie have little time to make an escape. Jump on a horse, get in a car, who cares, do it quickly…………. not quick enough it is all over, Spencer Matthews and Jamie Lang have been caught, gutted.
With just Jay and Siva left, it is all down to them to the last 48 hours. The Hunters have a vague location on the Wanted stars in Bath; this is the first time the Hunters have had sight on the boys for a while and quickly identify Jay’s contact in Bath. I am rooting for Jay and Siva now, they have done so well, they need to finish this now.
The final hours are ticking quickly for the Hunters and not quick enough for Jay and Siva – it is time for the two lads to win this game…. In a desperate bid to be in the right place at the right time the Hunters are pulling out the big guns and spreading themselves throughout the Suffolk area. Meanwhile a local jogger has given the lads a safe haven until the pick-up time; you can see the nerves in their faces.
The Hunters and the lads are on edge now and the Hunters are monitoring all aircraft activity in the area. This is so tense, the helicopter meeting the lads has just left, and the lads are in a boat racing to meet it.
The Hunters have spotted Jay and Siva and are giving chase with the lads biking and running to the helicopter…. I have never felt so competitive and it wasn’t even my game.
THEY MADE IT. I am genuinely ecstatic for them as they made the helicopter and it took off just in time. It was so close; the Hunters are obviously disappointed.
Well done to everyone involved, a superb
