After the exciting ending of episode one which left us wondering whether Steph and Dom Parker, of Gogglebox, would be the first to be caught or would the extreme yet highly intelligent methods used by Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing keep them safe, and what had happened to Anneka Rice; I can say that I was genuinely anticipating the second episode in this series.
This episode starts on day four where the hunters are currently closing in on Steph and Dom who were leisurely packing after receiving a tip off from their manager that she has been interrogated by the hunters and that they know where they are. Unfortunately, the hunters went to the wrong house, but the couple are still carefully packing their bags. This is going to be close……it’s all over for Steph and Dom who have been caught on day four by the hunters.
It’s a shame; they were my favourites.
The camera footage switched to Jay and Siva from the Wanted, who are camping in the classic British weather in an effort to save their funds and to avoid being detected. I am glad I am not them judging by that rain. Their plans might have just been foiled when a Scottish individual post about meeting two of the hunted contestants online, why would you do that?! Judging by the fact that people are trying to find these celebrities you have encountered, surely you would think about your actions rather than just jumping straight on social media? Well done Scottish lorry driver!
I feel Anneka Rice is going to be the hardest to find, she seems to have instantly gone to ground and has used her intuition to keep herself hidden, but the first mistake was to call her friends to ask for help. It gives the hunters a lead on her location and that will not be good for Anneka Rice; maybe I spoke too soon?
What a spanner! I cannot believe that the caravan owner has grassed them up. Things just aren’t going well for Jay and Siva at all are they?
With the hunters starting to doubt Woody, will the hunters give up the chase and look somewhere else?
There are so many questions running through my mind, my main thoughts for Jay and Siva when the Hunters enter the caravan, it was a relief to see that they had managed to escape, leaving a note before paddling across the lake in a kayak and because their actions were so cheeky, I can still feel myself smiling at the dismay of the hunters.
We are brought back to Spencer and Jamie with the sound of an off-key rendition of Jerusalem. Jamie and Spencer have shaved their heads and are still traveling through the woodland areas while debating on where to empty their bowels. How delightful!
I never liked the craftiness of the hunters but I cannot help but think that their scheme to mess with Spencer is pure genius. It worked how the Hunters anticipated it to and it’s like angering a wasp. The wasp will sting eventually.
The Hunters and Jamie and Spencer are at war, this is going to be interesting but if Spencer is going into London then surely it increases the risk of being caught?
The Hunters are catching up with Spencer and Jamie as they have a plan to catch Spencer by tracing Vogue’s phone for any movement, unless he has a plan to escape tucked under his belt, he will be caught, preferable better than tailing a black cab around London.
What will happen to Spencer while he is stuck in London after his meeting with girlfriend, Vogue?
Will Jay and Siva stop getting entangled with snitches and bad luck?
Is Jamie going to end up fending for himself?
What happened to Anneka Rice?
