In Clacton, Linda, Pete and George kick off this weeks Gogglebox with George discussing his special Pizza offer - perfect for a Friday Night!
First up for the Goggleboxers to review was Strictly Come Dancing, who were treated to Aston Merrygold’s performance. Everyone was impressed by Aston’s dancing skills with Lee remarking that he ‘certainly knows how to throw a bird around!’
James May: The Reassembler had a fairly negative review from the families. Stephen couldn’t believe that the camera was zooming in on a screwdriver and said it was ‘riveting’ to watch. Lee was asking how long the programme was on for, and Jenny felt like she was going to fall asleep during the show.
Antiques Road Trip is Mary’s ideal show, there’s no swearing and Giles likes it as there’s no nudity. The families were shocked and impressed at a camera being sold for £20,000!
Chris was back with Stephen this week after being noticeably absent from last weeks episode, both are still based at Stephen’s house for filming.
The families picked up on Theresa May’s performance on The Andrew Marr Show, commenting that her voice appeared to be struggling. Giles said that she needed a Fisherman’s Friend for her throat. The families were also urging Theresa to tell the truth and to answer Andrew Marr’s questions.
It was the finale of a Gogglebox favourite Doctor Foster this week. The Gogglebox families wanted to know if Doctor Foster hit Simon with her car, the families were disappointed that the Doctor swerved but were sad to find out that the Doctor’s son had run away.
There was chicken drama as ITV News revealed in an investigation last week. Lee was concerned as he’s bought some chicken and Leon thinks we’re too fussy with our food.
The Yorkshire Vet had one of Stephen’s dogs growling at the TV and there was a bulging eye situation which no one could look at, especially the removal of an eye! However the families reactions were priceless!
