Once again we have reached that point of the year where we welcome Celebrity MasterChef back onto our screens. Alongside the gleeful faces of judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode, is Gogglebox’s very own Reverend Kate Bottley!

Accompanying Kate are some of British television’s best known names:
  • Julia Somerville, a former BBC presenter.
  • Debbie McGee, a professional ballet dancer and assistant to late husband Paul Daniels on his magic shows.
  • Lesley Garret, a successful opera singer.
  • Ulrika Jonsson, writer and TV presenter of Gladiators.
  • Rachel Stevens, former singer for pop group sensation S Club 7.
  • Angellica Bell, presenter for the lll Gotten Gains.
  • Becky Adlington, a double Olympic gold medallist.
  • Patti Boulaye, singer and actress.
  • Asasmah Mir, a journalist and Radio 4 presenter.
  • Stephen Hendry, seven times world snooker champion.
  • Jim Moir, actor and comedian.
  • Nick Moran, an actor known for his role in Harry Potter.
  • Jaymi Hensley, pop singer from boy band Union J.
  • Brian Bovell, an actor from Coronation Street.
  • Henri Leconte, former French tennis champion.
  • Abdullah Afzal, from BBC One’s Citizen Khan.
  • Dev Grifin, DJ and present for BBC Radio 1.
  • Tyger Drew Honey, known for his younger year’s role in Outnumbered and famous pornographic father.
  • Barney Harwood, from CBBC.

The celebrities are set for the hardest season yet as the MasterChef duo are set to cause serious heat in the kitchen with new and more challenging cooks, and not to mention the return of cooking for some of the country’s most respected chefs such as Marcus Wareing. This season is most definitely worth the watch!
