Joel Dommett is reportedly set to join Scarlett Moffatt as the co-host of Extra Camp

Joel Dommett is reportedly being lined-up to host I’m A Celebrity spin-off Extra Camp with reigning queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt.

The comedian, who was runner up in last year’s series, is rumoured to be heading out to Australia to front the programme alongside last year’s Queen of the Jungle Moffatt.

The news comes after the show’s previous presenters Vicky Pattinson, Chris Ramsey, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon were said to have been dropped.

A source told The Sun: “Show bosses wanted to refresh the format and give it a new lease of life.

“They feel Scarlett and Joel have great on-screen chemistry and they’re hoping the ratings will reflect that. “They're a naturally funny pair together so the risk should pay off.”

A spokesman for the show commented: "We will announce our 2017 presenting line up in due course."
